Miracles Everyday

There are so many miracles that happened idek where to start. Monday we met a young woman in our ward who is so amazing and so talented but needs love. She is the sweetest thing. It was so fun to get to know her and continuing to get to know her. Tuesday a guy we met on a Christian facebook group that we've been talking to told us he wanted to read the Book of Mormon. We sent him off to the Missionaries is his area on Sunday. So sad but he is so elect. Wednesday we went on exchanges. I got to go to El Camino Real in Santa Fe which is a spanish branch. I was so excited! It was so excited!! Friday we drove to Albuquerque for a zone conference and we didn't get home till 9 so that took all of our day.

There are Miracles everyday! Just keep looking for them. I love you all!πŸ’•

The Hamptons and Robin Williams

Well, this week went by so slow... I dont even know how to describe it. We were able to have an in person meeting with our district leader and He looks exactly like Robin Williams so funny. So that was awesome. Another thing that happened this week is we put Bruce on date for baptism. He has been taught for years, but we need to soften his wife's heart a little.

This week had been a weird one. So funny things that happened.
-sister Gatherum flushed her tag down the toilet
-The Elders need some Book of Mormons so we sat and told them jokes while they were here cause we have no one to talk toπŸ˜‚

So that's about it my week was pretty lame. Sorry fellers I hope you are all doing well! I love you all so much❤❤

Sad girl hours over

Happy Monday! This week was crazy Wednesday Sister Butts and I woke up at 5 and drove to Albuquerque to meet at the transfer sight. As soon as we got out of the car I saw Hermana Wery and my heart dropped! I was so thankful to see her! Love her! So after everyone got their new companion mine was coming up from down south so I went with the Hermanas in Albuquerque all day. I got to help teach a lesson in Spanish which was super nice! Then at 9 that night we went and picked up Sister Gatherum! She is truly amazing! I am so thankful to have her as my companion! Nothing much has happened this week. We have been contacting a lot of members because in this area we don't have a lot of people to teach but it's all good. One thing I have learned this week is that a laugh a day makes your day so much better! So keep laughing!! Love and miss you all so much! Here's some pics

Ducks from Service

This week was a little wild, we have been having lots of teachings with members because Sister Butts has been in this area for 9 months and is now going home. Then on Saturday we had a drive by for everyone to say goodbye. I dont know who it was better for me or her because I don't know anyone's face.πŸ˜‚ While we were there I met the best member her name is Sister Purvis. She is so funny and just so loving. Then we had the opportunity to do a service project for a family that just moved back into the ward. That was super fun to get to know them.

This past couple weeks have been hard mentally for me. So while we were teaching someone at the church on Sunday I had the opportunuty to recieve a blessing. And let me tell you everything that was said nobody knew but my Heavenly Father. He is listening to all your prayers! He loves you all so much! I know this gospel is so true. I am so grateful for the priesthood power and the blessing it is for us to have Gods power on the earth today. Love you all! Thank you for all your love and support!

DANCE...... and don't care who's watching

Hello everyone!! This week was as normal as you can imagine. We were able to go our and do some service on Tuesday and Thurday so that was good. We had to come to the church one evening to use the wifi and there was this man who was walking. He had these big noise cancelling headphones on and was dancing as he was walking down the street. He didn't care who was watching he was happier than could be. It made my day to see someone so care free! Sorry not much has been going on since we've been inside. Love you all, praying for you!

You are of GREAT Worth

I can't believe its Monday again. Wow the weeks just keep going faster and faster. Heavenly Father has been teaching me so many lessons. These past few weeks I have not been myself like my personality wise. And it has been killing me inside. But my mom shared something with me, God called us to be where we are at this time because of who we are. YOU ARE OF GREAT WORTH! Your Heavenly Father loves you so much! He wants you to be you. I am so thankful for the many lessons I am continuing to learn.

Enjoyed pulling weeds!!

Hello everyone welcome back to the weekly special with Hermana/ Sister / Kinzel Gorl Bowers. I hope you are all doing amazing, I love and miss you all very much! I wish I could be with all of you again in person!!

Anyway this week felt so long, but that's okay. This week we were given many opportunities to serve others in our area by pulling weeds. For once I can truthfully say I enjoyed pulling them. Haha. I have learned so much this week about my Savior. How forever grateful I will be for Him! I cannot put into words my love for Him. I know He lives! I know He is walking with us in this crazy thing called life. He spent moments alone so we never have to. He is the King of Kings Lord of Lords and He is my brother. I know that this is His gospel. This is His church and He sits at the head. If any of you have the chance go read about His crucifixion in Matthew 27. You will learn so much about Him. I am so thankful for the opportunity I have to share His light and love with the world. He loves you so much, never forget that.

Love you all so much! Thank you for your many prayers and emails!!❤

No firesworks?!?

Hi everyone! I hope all is going good back home. This week flew by crazy fast. We have been working a lot through Facebook and teaching over phone and video calls still. The fourth of July was a little different this year. In the area I'm in we are under a very strict fire warning so we didn't get to see any fireworks which was sad but that's okay. We made cinnamon rolls for people and took them around so that was fun. We got permission to do service for a widow in our ward and we are going to do that tomorrow. I AM SO EXCITED!!

Merry Dunkmas!!

Merry Dunkmas everyone! Aka we got someone on date for baptism! Her name is Debra and she is an angel. Watching her grow closer to her Savior has been incredible to watch. As a missionary we have the coolest opportunity to watch the atonement work firsthand. I love it! Lately as you all probably know I have been having some struggles mentally of why Heavenly Father called me on a mission. And I used to think that He only called the ones who know the scriptures but most definitely not. He calls the ones who have been through the atonement. Who have had to experience it for themselves. I know this gospel is so true!! We are so  blessed to know our Savior, to have the restored gospel, and to be given the atonement. Because Heaven knows we ain't perfect nor are we going to be. I would like you all to study about the atonement and see what you learn. Remember what you feel as you do so! Love you all!❤

Spanish English speaking quarantined missionary

Howdy fellers from the weekly special of Hermana Bowers. (The spanish/ english speaking quarantined missionary).

I can't believe it's Monday again all ready. What a crazy week this has been! There have been some really great days and some really hard days. But that's what makes a mission or just life in general.

This week we had a lesson with a member from our ward here in White Rock who is the absolute best. The spirit was so strong we read over the talk "Our Divinity Within". If you haven't read it go read it again. Then after you read it read your patriarchal blessing. SO COOL!!

We had a lesson with Maribel a girl we are teaching who is the absolute sweetest. Truly love her so much and I haven't ever met her in person.πŸ˜‚ We talked about the Plan of Salvation and the spirit was so strong. Oh my gosh!! I have to keep reminding myself that is the reason why I am our here.

Yesterday we had a Bible study with a guy who is from Tennessee so that was so cool!

I have gotten back into my doodling mode that I started at college and I've had a lot of time to do that! And I got my companion addicted so that's been awesome to see her discover a new talent.

Transfer News is this Wednesday!!

Thank you all for your love and supportive! ❤Hna. Bowers

You are doing better than you think you are!!

Hello everyone! How are you all? It is very warm here in New Mexico right now. They say in my area this is the hottest month all summer. We are making it through! This week has been a little crazy we have been teaching on zoom like crazy whether it's with members or inactives or non members. We are doing our very best to teach while in doors. This week I finished the Book of Mormon!! Wahoo! Now I've started reading it again in english and in spanish to hopefully keep some of my spanish. Being back out has been a bit if a challenge but I am pushing through. I am learning many lessons.

1. Gods plan and timing is perfect.
2. Idk why I've been asked to do things but I do them anyway
3. You can give your all in everything
4. The only thing I've been asked to give is my best
I am still learning these many lessons but pushing through the trial. This week we were teaching this member who's kids had gone camping with her husband so she finally had time for us. But I've never had the spirit guide me so strong to change the subject and just tell her that she is doing amazing as a mom.
This is another lesson I am learning for myself. YOU ARE DOING BETTER THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE! Keep going in all your trials. He is with you. He is walking with you. Talk to him about everything! He wants to hear you! I love you all and miss you dearly!❤ With digital hugs Hermana Bowers!

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Hello everyone I am back on the weekly emails. I am in White Rock, New Mexico. My companions are Sister Butts and Sister Harris. Sister Butts is from Utah and Sister Harris is from the area where I am serving. Sister Harris is leaving us on Tuesday for Michigan to go to her actual mission. I am not going to lie it is very difficult adjusting to missionary life style again. But I have already learned so much. I was having a really hard day one morning and we were doing personal study and i don't think I have ever prayed so hard that Heavenly Father would answer my prayer to help me gain peace. After I prayed I opened up my scriptures and I came upon a scripture when the savior is talking. He says TRUST IN ME. I know all things. Wow that hit me like a ton of bricks. I know that I am supposed to be here for what reason i don't know. I understand how hard it is to trust in the Lord and know that everything will be okay. I am so thankful for my savior that I can have someone to feel everything I feel. I love and miss all of you dearly. Thank you for your support. btw I am speaking english not Spanish right now:(
